MangaTrack collects the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Account information (email, username) when you register
• Reading progress and library data you explicitly add
• Usage analytics to improve the product (page views, feature usage)
• Device and browser information for compatibility

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve MangaTrack, including personalizing recommendations, sending notifications about new chapters, maintaining leaderboards, and ensuring the security of our platform.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your reading data may be visible to other users based on your privacy settings (which you control in Settings). We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and implement rate limiting, CSRF protection, and other industry-standard security measures.

5. Your Rights

You can export all your data at any time from the Settings page. You can delete your account and all associated data permanently. You control the visibility of your profile, library, and activity through privacy settings.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics cookies are used to understand product usage and improve the experience.

7. Third-Party Services

MangaTrack integrates with MangaDex and AniList for manga metadata. When you use OAuth login (Google, Discord), those providers' privacy policies also apply to the authentication process.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
